I received my name, meaning 'Happiness', as my family felt that I brought such warmth into their hearts. In return, a lot brings such happiness into my life – everything from the smiles on people’s faces to the fresh smell of rain and the wispy textures of sweet cotton candy.
Baku born and bred, I am an open-minded extrovert who likes meeting and interacting with new people. I love sharing information and believe that you can always learn something valuable from anyone you meet. Add to this a chance to share a fascination with my home city, and you’ll understand why I appreciate the guide’s profession so much. For me Baku is one of the world’s most beautiful cities, forming a gentle sea-facing amphitheatre and refreshingly full of parks and gardens. Culturally it bridges the divide between Asia and Europe, and is the source of many intriguing legends and historical stories. But more than anything, I’d like to show you the city’s traditional arts and reveal some of Baku’s non-touristic districts. There’s so much to share!
